Spartium junceum

Spartium junceum – a deciduous, perennial shrub, growing about 2-3 m in height. In late spring and summer, it is covered with fragrant, bright yellow flowers. It grows naturally in the Mediterranean, in sunny areas and dry, karst land and rocks. Due to the beautiful yellow flowers, it is often planted as a decorative plant in gardens and parks. It is resistant to drought, storms and salt and tolerates pruning well. It also handles city pollution very well.
