Quercus pubescens
Quercus pubescens - downy oak; a deciduous tree up to 20 m tall and can grow as a shrub up to several m tall. In our area, it grows on the coast. It is suitable for warm habitats, permeable, shallow, dry, limestone soils with poorly acid reaction. On inferior lands it is of lower growth and has irregular tree tops. Lives up to 500 years.
