Bignonia radicans - a deciduous climber that climbs with the help of aerial roots and reaches a height up to 20 m. The flowers are tubular, orange or red in color and can grow up to 8 cm. It blooms from June to September. It grows well in a sunny, warm and sheltered place. Likes nutritious, well-drained soil. Developed specimens are frost resistant and can withstand temperatures up to -20⁰C.

Bougainvillea sp. - a deciduous climber, which can grow up to 10 m in height depending on the habitat. It has numerous thorns located above the buds. The leaves are dark green, spiral arranged. The flowers are small and yellow, surrounded by large bracts of various colors (pink, white, yellow, orange, red) which makes it look very pretty. It blooms from April to November. They can be grown in the form of a tree, hedge or in a large jar. It is suitable for habitats full of sunlight and mild soil, the temperature should not be lower than -6-8 ⁰C.

Hedera algeriensis GGloire de Marengoʺ - an evergreen climber that grows up to 4 m in height. The leaf is dark green with a white border. It prefers fertile, humus soil, tolerates slightly acidic soil, and grows in a sunny to slightly shady position. In the absence of sunlight, it can lose the decorative color of the leaves.

Hedera helix - an evergreen, permanent, creeping plant that can grow up to 30 m tall. Resistant to low temperatures. It is popular as a plant that covers bare walls but needs to be kept under control. With its tufted, small roots it adheres to the walls, and when removed from the walls and places where it was gripped, it leaves unattractive stains that are difficult to remove.

Mandevilla sanders - a climber that grows 3-5 m in height. It has fleshy glossy green leaves and tubular, yellowish-pink flowers. The flowers appear from late spring until early fall. Requires direct sun or partial shade and well-drained, humus-rich soil. We grow it in a container because it does not tolerate temperatures below 7 ⁰C, and we bring it indoors in winter.

The strong northern wind and frost can damage the plant. In winter the leaves turn reddish, and in the spring the whole plant becomes green again. It flowers in May and June and sometimes later, depending on the warm temperatures of the area where it is planted. Its flower is white in color and has an intense sweet smell.

Solanum jasminoides - a semi-green climber, grows up to 6 m high. It blooms from summer to autumn with white flowers. Unlike evergreen jasmine, the flowers are not fragrant. It grows in sunny places sheltered from strong winds. It withstands salt, but is sensitive to low temperatures.

Wisteria sinensis - a climber that can grow up to 20 m in height. The flowers are purple-blue, clustered in driftwood clusters and they bloom in May. It is often planted as an ornamental plant to cover unsightly walls, terraces, etc. It is suited to sunny areas, moist and deep soil. It is resistant to frost and cold temperatures.
