Quercus ilex

Quercus ilex - an evergreen shrub or tree up to 20 m high. It has a wide dense, rounded tree top, and because of the shape, it is a common ornamental type of the coastal area, since it can be pruned into desired shapes. It is more suitable for deeper and dry habitats of moderately acid reaction. It can stand the salt well.
