Cedrus atlantica ‘Glauca’

Cedrus atlantica ‘Glauca’ – a coniferous tree growing up to 18 m tall. The leaves are needle-shaped, very bluish in color, clustered in tufts. Prefers dry, deep, acidic to neutral, sandy to loamy soil. It does not tolerate moist and poorly drained soil. Drought resistant and partially resistant to airborne salt. At a young age, it needs protection from strong winds. A relatively fast-growing species at a young age, but later tends to grow slowly. It takes 20 to 50 years for it to achieve its maximum size.
