Cydonia japonica

Cydonia japonica – a deciduous shrub from the rose family that grows up to 1 m in height. It blooms before leafing from February to April with orange-red and white flowers. Fresh and nutritious soils in sunny locations are the ones it prefers. It is resistant to drought, low temperatures and urban pollution. It tolerates pruning and can be grown as a hedge.
