Passiflora caerulea

Passiflora caerulea – a deciduous climber that grows up to 8 m high. It blooms throughout the summer and fall while there is enough heat. Its flowers are large, very exotic in appearance, light blue in color. Seeks sun and warmth and enough moisture. It thrives in areas with a mild climate. Here it is known as the Crown of Jesus because of the flowers whose wreath is reminiscent of a crown of thorns.
