Salvia officinalis

Salvia officinalis – medicinal sage is a perennial semi-shrubby herb up to 70 cm tall. It blooms from May to July, lasting about 20 days with bluish flowers. It is suited to sunny habitats and does not like predominantly moist soil thus should be watered modestly. It is known as a very medicinal plant. Sage leaves are harvested before flowering.
