Bougainvillea sp.

Bougainvillea sp. – a deciduous climber, which can grow up to 10 m in height depending on the habitat. It has numerous thorns located above the buds. The leaves are dark green, spiral arranged. The flowers are small and yellow, surrounded by large bracts of various colors (pink, white, yellow, orange, red) which makes it look very pretty. It blooms from April to November. They can be grown in the form of a tree, hedge or in a large jar. It is suitable for habitats full of sunlight and mild soil, the temperature should not be lower than -6-8 ⁰C.
