Rhynchospermum jasminoides

Rhyncospermum jasminoides – evergreen jasmine is a climber that can grow up to 9 m in height. It is planted and wintered in both coastal and continental Croatia. The strong northern wind and frost can damage the plant. In winter the leaves turn reddish, and in the spring the whole plant becomes green again. It flowers in May and June and sometimes later, depending on the warm temperatures of the area where it is planted. Its flower is white in color and has an intense sweet smell.
