Photinia frasseri ‘Red Robin’

Photinia frasseri ‘Red Robin’ – an evergreen shrub that grows freely in nature, 3-5 m high and 3-4 m wide. As the leaves grow, they are red in color and gradually turn green. White flowers occur from April to May. It is planted individually, in groups or as a hedge (planting distance 50-60 cm). It looks very attractive as a low stem (1-1.5 m high) and a treetop is shaped like a ball. Seeks sunny positions and neutral or slightly acidic soil with lots of organic matter.
