Kerria japonica

Kerria japonica – deciduous shrub up to 2 m high. The flowers appear in mid-spring, before the leaves, and are golden yellow. It is suitable for growing as a wall decoration or as a decorative hedge. It likes sunny and semi-shady places and tolerates shade. It is resistant to frost and urban pollution, but in areas of harsh climates and strong winds it is grown in a protected area.
