Callistemon laevis

Callistemon laevis – an exotic Mediterranean evergreen species that can be grown as a small tree or shrub and used as a flowering Mediterranean hedge. The flowers are small and inconspicuous with 5 petals each, but the stamens are red and long and give the flower a look of a red bush. The plant blooms from June and flowering can last until October. Loves sunny positions and moist, well-drained soil, slightly acidic to neutral. During flowering it should be fed once a month.
